First Ride of the Year

We actually had a good weather day......and couldn't wait any longer to get the 4 wheelers out!
Behind our subdivision there is a little track that some neighbors made for their kids to ride bikes on. They don't care if we use it, so we geared up and headed out....

A New Addition to the Family

Mike's brother, Danny, called Saturday morning (March 17th) to tell us that his wife who was 27 weeks pregnant woke up really sick and he had to take her to the hospital. Leslyn was having some major complications and ended up having an emergency c-section that morning. Little Nicholas Patrick was born weighing in at only 2 pounds! He is so teeny....but he is a miracle.

He was transferred to a larger hospital about 30 minutes away that has a NICU with all the equipment, doctors and nurses to take care of him. After he got settled at the new hospital it was amazing that all he was hooked up to was oxygen and a feeding tube. For being so small he is doing amazing! Mike was able to stop with his parents that afternoon and see him for a few minutes. They all said he was doing great.

When you see his tiny hand you realize just how teeny he is. Danny said that Leslyn is doing better. We hope for a quick recovery for her and that baby Nicholas is able to join his two brothers at home soon.

POST Advancement

I am so proud of Mike!!
He received his advanced certificate from the State of Idaho POST Council.

To obtain this certificate, he had to complete a certain number of college credits, work at least 9 years in law enforcement, and acquire a certain number of training hours. This represents a lot of hard work he has completed in the last decade! Way to go, tootz!
